【生物醫學暨工程學系_簡介】
生物醫學暨工程是指將工程原理與生物醫學相結合，以設計並創造出健康醫療照護所需的儀器設備和軟硬體。慈濟大學生物醫學暨工程學系將於2023年開始招生，目的在培育兼具工程及生物醫學跨領域知識與實作經驗之高階生物醫學工程師。本系結合本校物理治療學系、醫學資訊學系之教學研究師資，並與各慈濟醫療體系在臨床方面緊密合作，擴展至生醫材料、組織工程、奈米材料、生物力學、生醫光電、生醫感測與生物資訊等不同面向之生醫工程發展。本系致力於創新與加強臨床醫療治療、診斷、照護工作，培育跨領域專業生物醫學工程科技人才，對於我國在生醫產業的應用發展將有莫大助益。竭誠歡迎您加入慈大的行列!
Biomedical sciences and engineering combines engineering principles with biomedical sciences to design and create equipment, devices, and software required in healthcare. The department of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering (BMSE) at Tzu Chi University (TCU) will be established in 2023 with the aim of cultivating high-level biomedical engineers with multidisciplinary knowledge and practice in both engineering and biomedicine. We combine the teaching and research faculties of the department of Physical Therapy and the department of Medical Informatics, and closely cooperate with Tzu Chi Medical Foundation in clinical aspects, expanding to various biomedical engineering development, such as biomaterials, tissue engineering, nanomaterials, biomechanics, biophotonics, biosensors and bioinformatics. We are committed to innovating and strengthening the clinical medical treatment, diagnosis, and medical care, and cultivating multidisciplinary professional biomedical engineering scientific and technological talents, which will be of great help to the development of biomedical industry.
